Wyacola Wyoming/Colorado

This place holds a very very special place in my heart. We have so much family history here that completely shapes the town.
My dads family has a cabin up there nestled back into the woods. His grandparents lived in the tiny home, which used to be the school house.
My step-grandpa's family owns a HUGE chunk of the land up there and he knows every inch of the vast expanse of forrest.

My great uncle built Wyacola Lodge and owned it for a while. He also built most of the homes up thre and left his incredible craftsmanship on all of them.

The beauty of Nueva Vallarta can not be  beat.

My family and I took a trip there quite a awhile ago. but still I can see the beaches in my dreams.
My brother had graduated highschool that year and as a reward my parents took him and I took our small condo in the city.

Just a short walk down the beach we could sit at a restuant with our feet in the sand and fresh seafood on our plates.

My dad took my brother on an all day mahi mahi fishing trip and brought home dinner for the next 2 night. Man that was GOOOOOOOD.
Everything was so green and lush there. Every where you would turn there would be birds and lizards. The weather is also just simply PERFECT. If it is too hot (rarely over 90) you simply get into the water. When it cools down you can walk down the beach to thhe city and enjoy the night life.
Fort Collins, Colorado
The places we grow up are very important... even if you wernt exactly a fan of them at the time.
Fort collins is like that for me. Living here as a teenager I have grown to dislike the growing of the city.
But that does not take away from the fact that this is a fantastic place to live.
There is everything from miles and miles and MILES of biking trails in the summer to fantastic snow activities in the winter.

We also have a wonderful old town area. It is over a hundred years old and you can see its history simply by looking at the outsides of the buildings.

We also have a wide aray of breweries. Local Breweries provide weekend activities with tours and such. And every year we kick off fall with New West Fest.
i love this place.... sometimes
Laramie, Wyoming

Some say that Wyoming is nothing but cowboys and wind. They are right... to a point. But to me it is so much more than that. Its open ground, a new start, freedom and adventure. I personally think that the emptiness of the state is what holds its draw. I am not a people person. Never have been and never will be. But I don't need to worry about that in Wyoming.
Now Laramie..... it is a city. Sure. But the cities in Wyoming are towns compared to Places like Denver or heaven forbid.... L.A...   Laramie also provides schooling.... University Of Wyoming is Located in the small city. Perfect for a n anti social forest rat like myself.
Marco Island, Florida.

Our visit to the island started with my Uncle Eric. Out of the 20 years he was married to my Aunt Kolleen 15 f those he was begging to make the move from Pennsylvania to this tiny island outside of Naples Florida. Unfortunately 2 months after they had finally moved down there and gotten settled my uncle passed away in a horrific car accident. My mother went down that same fateful day to help my aunt and her four kids. During those 10 days she also fell in love with the island and all its beauty.
So in the spring break of 2011 she flew myself and my dad down to Florida with her. There must me something in the water because we too fell in love with the island. Marco is a water locked beauty that is smaller that the town I grew up in. The beaches are white and the water is warm. The streets are clean and cobbled . Massive hotels line the main street but don't take away from the beauty of the island.
